Designed by Masanori Oji and made by Futagami, Japan.

Using the traditional colouring method of Takaoka casting, Kuro-Mura, makes the products something like an ancient excavated items. This is a traditional method used for Buddhist altar articles, which mixes pigments with Japanese lacquer, Urushi. The product gradually changes its colour over the course of years due to oxidisation. The longer it is used, the richer and subtler it becomes.
