Teapot comes with flat ceramic lid.  

Care: We recommend hand washing this pot, however it is dishwasher and oven safe. Cannot be used over direct flame or on a stove top.

They are not resistant to thermal shock, so cannot be moved from very cold (eg. fridge) directly into very hot (eg. oven).
